General LaborShift:
1 st shift, 6:45am - 4:30pm M-F (shifts may last until 4:30-6:00pm, and half day Saturdays occasionally required)Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hard-working General Laborer to join our team in a sewer, water, and grading construction environment. This position involves manual labor on construction sites, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring work areas are safe and productive. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physically demanding tasks.Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of sewer and water lines. Perform site preparation work including grading, trenching, and assisting as needed with excavation. Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites. Set up and take down traffic control and work zone safety barriers. Perform general site cleanup and maintenance duties. Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines. Support pipe layers, operators, and other skilled trades on-site. Identify and report safety hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors promptly.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Previous construction or labor experience preferred, especially in utility installation or site grading. Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs), bend, squat, and work on uneven terrain. Good mobile dexterity Willingness to work in confined spaces and varying weather conditions. Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Work Environment:
Outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.). Physical, fast-paced, and occasionally hazardous work environment. May involve exposure to dirt, dust, noise, and potentially unpleasant odors (especially when working with sewer systems).Similar remote jobs
