Chicago Ridge, IL Job Description 2 Cute Clothing Corporation is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team at our women's clothing store. The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers, employees, and store property. This role requires a proactive individual who can act autonomously while remaining under the direct supervision of the Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Loss Prevention Enforcement:

Monitor and patrol store premises to deter theft, vandalism, and other unauthorized activities. Observe and investigate suspicious activities and take appropriate action to prevent loss.

Safety of Employees and Customers:

Maintain a visible presence in the store to ensure the safety of customers and employees. Respond promptly to any emergencies, disturbances, or incidents within the store. Provide assistance to customers and employees in need.

Handling Suspicious Activity:

Identify and address any suspicious behavior or activities. Monitor surveillance equipment and report any unusual occurrences to the Store Manager. Contact law enforcement and assist in the apprehension of suspects when necessary.

Customer Interaction:

Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Provide assistance, directions, and guidance to customers as needed. Escort customers out of the store if required, ensuring compliance with company policies.

Incident Reporting and Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of all security-related incidents. Complete comprehensive incident reports promptly after any significant events. Submit incident reports to the Store Manager for review. Compliance with

Company Policies and Procedures:

Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to security duties. Follow protocols for handling emergencies and security incidents. Maintain confidentiality of all company information obtained during the course of duties.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with store staff to ensure a cohesive approach to security. Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and other team members.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a security guard or in a related role is preferred. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and security equipment. Excellent observational and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Flexibility to work additional hours if needed. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
