Preschool Speech-Language Pathologist (FMLA)

Looking for a rewarding way to support our youngest learners? Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential FMLA coverage for a preschool population in Chicago Ridge, IL for the 2026-2027 school year!

Position Overview:

Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for preschool-aged students to support early communication development. Manage a preschool caseload while maintaining compliant documentation, progress reports, and service minutes. Partner with families, classroom teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate communication goals into the daily learning environment. Opportunities to facilitate smooth transitions for students entering or exiting services during the FMLA coverage periods ( 8/17/26 - 11/6/26 and 10/12/26 - 1/8/27 ).

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist (Non-Teaching) endorsement Prior experience working with preschool-aged students (Preferred) Why Make a Move with Cross Country Education?

Top Compensation:

Earn $49.80 - $64.00 Per Hour , based on your experience and qualifications as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
