2ND SHIFT CHARGE NURSE NO WEEKENDS

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift Charge Nurse to work Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm evening shift.

NO WEEKENDS!

Responsibilities Lead and coordinate nursing staff during the 2nd shift Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physiological evaluations to ensure accurate documentation and timely interventions. Complete medication administration, injections, and other clinical procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations and safety standards. Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to document medical records accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans for patients Ensure adherence to facility policies on patient confidentiality, medical terminology accuracy, and infection control protocols. Manage emergency situations effectively by applying knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and emergency protocols while maintaining composure under pressure. Experience Previous experience in long term care is preferred but not required Experience with geriatric patient population Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for medical documentation and records management.
