Account Executive - Vending and Office Coffee Channel DeMitri Chesapeake Sales | North Jersey & Metro NYC Position Overview DeMitri Chesapeake Sales is seeking a high-energy Account Executive to drive growth within the vending, office coffee servie, and unattended retail channel across North Jersey and Metro NYC. This role focuses on building strong relationships with vending operators, micro market providers, and distributors while expanding distribution for our supplier partners. The ideal candidate understands the fast-paced nature of the vending business, is comfortable managing multiple accounts, and thrives on uncovering new opportunities for growth. Key Responsibilities Manage and grow relationships with vending operators, micro market accounts, and regional distributors Identify and secure new business opportunities within the unattended retail channel Execute product launches, promotions, and planogram recommendations tailored to vending and micro markets Partner with operators to optimize product mix, pricing, and merchandising for maximum sales performance Conduct regular market visits to review placement, identify gaps, and ensure execution excellence Present new items, limited-time offers, and category insights to customers Collaborate with supplier partners to align on growth strategies and priorities Track sales performance, distribution gains, and key account activity Stay informed on industry trends, emerging products, and competitive activity within vending and convenience Qualifications 2+ years of sales experience (vending, food brokerage, CPG, or convenience channel preferred) Existing relationships within the vending or unattended retail space is a strong plus Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Self-starter with a proven ability to drive results and grow accounts Ability to manage a territory with regular in-market travel Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Bachelor's degree preferred but not required Skills & Attributes Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership Ability to analyze sales data and translate insights into actionable recommendations Highly organized and able to manage multiple customers and priorities Hands-on approach with a willingness to be in the field regularly Customer-first mentality with a focus on long-term partnerships Territory North Jersey, Metro New York City, Long Island, and portion of upstate NY Regular travel required throughout the territory for customer meetings and market visits Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary + commission/bonus structure Health benefits (medical, dental, vision) Paid time off and holidays Car allowance 401k Why Join DeMitri Chesapeake Sales?
