Summer Camp Program Leader Happy Days Preschool - Edison, NJ Position starts Mid-June through Labor Day! Happy Days Preschool in Edison, NJ is seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Summer Camp Program Leader to join our team for an exciting summer season! We are looking for someone who loves working with children, enjoys planning engaging activities, and can create a safe, fun, and positive environment for campers and staff. Position Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily summer camp activities for preschool and school-age children Plan engaging age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities, themed events, games, arts & crafts, and enrichment experiences Create daily lesson plans Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing environment Support and motivate camp counselors and classroom staff Communicate professionally with parents and leadership Ensure all licensing, safety, and health procedures are followed Help create a fun and memorable summer experience for all children enrolled in camp Qualifications Experience working in childcare, preschool, camp, or youth programs required Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Positive attitude, reliability, and team-oriented mindset Ability to manage groups of children in an active environment CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Supportive and positive team environment Competitive pay based on experience Opportunity to make a lasting impact on children and families Fun, engaging summer atmosphere Potential for continued employment beyond the summer season Location Happy Days Preschool Edison, New Jersey Apply Today!
