Job DescriptionJob Description Construction Accounting Assistant We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable General Accounting Assistant to join our client's team. This role supports the Controller across a range of accounting functions in a construction environment. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, thrives in a varied workload, and is eager to continue learning on the job. Key Responsibilities Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry and processing Support prevailing wage payroll functions Maintain compliance with DOT requirements Utilize LCP Tracker for certified payroll and compliance reporting Assist with construction accounting tasks as directed by the Controller Handle general data entry with a high degree of accuracy Take on additional accounting and administrative tasks as the role evolves Minimum Qualifications Experience in construction accounting Proficiency in AP/AR data entry Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to shifting priorities Upbeat, team-oriented attitude Preferred Qualifications Experience with LCP Tracker Prevailing wage payroll experience Familiarity with DOT compliance requirements What We're Looking For The right candidate is highly analytical, exceptionally organized, and approaches their work with a clear sense of process.
