Accounting Assistant

Job Summary:

The Accounting Assistant must be an excellent multi-tasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for all aspects of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, maintenance of employee files, general banking procedures, maintenance of membership accounts, and general clerical and administrative functions. Duties Include, but not limited to Assist Controller with daily accounting functions Posting charges to Member accounts Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable Process Accounts Payable payments - Input Invoices and generate Vendor Checks Maintain Payroll records and Organizational data Administrative support and Data entry Required Skills Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets (Excel), and internal financial databases. Experience with JONAS accounting software is preferred. Maintain confidentiality and protect private information. Attention to Detail - Accurate data entry, account reconciliation, and reporting. Must be able to regularly manage multiple tasks, maintain detailed records, and meet deadlines. Positive interaction with Members, Controller, finance teams, and other departments.
