• Saraland, AL We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join a growing team in Saraland.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM schedule.

Pay Range:

$17.00

• 18.

50/hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

• Review invoices and purchase orders for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Verify coding, approvals, charges, and payment terms
• Enter invoice and payment information into the company's financial system
• Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding invoices and payments
• Work with vendors and team members to resolve invoice issues
• Maintain organized electronic records of invoices, receipts, reports, and checks
• Assist with routine accounting-related tasks and other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous accounts payable, bookkeeping, or accounting experience required
• Strong computer and data entry skills, including Microsoft Excel
• Experience with JD Edwards is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently
