As an Activities Coordinator, you will play an essential role in creating engaging recreational and social activities that support individuals with developmental disabilities while promoting independence, creativity, and community involvement in a supportive environment. Position Overview Plan, coordinate, and conduct group and individual recreational activities based on each individual's interests, abilities, and needs Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement meaningful activity programs that reflect individual preferences and goals Provide instruction and guidance to staff regarding activity delivery methods, participation techniques, and program implementation Maintain curriculum binders and activity schedules to ensure age-appropriate, engaging, and varied activities are available for all individuals served Assist with community outings, special events, and recreational opportunities that encourage social interaction and independence Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals served by following all required precautions and supervision guidelines Maintain accurate documentation related to activities, participation, and progress notes Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for individuals receiving servicesREQUIREMENTS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
