Family Physician

To improve the overall health of the communities we serve, we are seeking experienced, full-time Physicians with relevant work experience, credentialing and residency in Family Practice Medicine.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Treats a mixed patient population, across gender, age and ethnicity, as well as insured and un-insured patients. Examine patient to determine general physical condition. Performs physical examinations and preventive-health measures within prescribed guidelines. Participates in provider staff meetings to develop problem-solving techniques and acquire team-building skills. Performs other duties as assigned or as needed. Must be able to secure credentialing through identified agencies (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.). Effective oral and written communication skills required with a model motivating personality toward patients, colleagues, Medical Assistants and other support staff. Experience with Electronic Health Records systems and keyboarding skills required and must be able to work some evenings and Saturdays. Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

Working with underserved populations is highly desired. Certification through the Drug Enforcement Agency and valid licensure in the State of Kentucky are required. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified.

Education:

Completion of accredited Medical Doctor (MD) required. Board Certification or board - eligible in area of specialty required. Family Practice specialty strongly preferred. Schedule Requirements Full-time position, 4-5 days per week, 100% clinic-based, in person work required. Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
