Activity Coordinator The Brook of Portland If you are energetic, creative, and fun-loving, with a passion for enhancing the lives of others, we invite you to join our team ! The Brook of Portland is seeking a compassionate and motivated Activity Coordinator to help create meaningful and enriching experiences for our residents. Benefits Employee bonus programs Dental and Vision Insurance Options Paid time off Flexible schedule Opportunities to learn new things daily Beautiful work environment Fun, family-like atmosphere Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and facilitate life-enriching activities for residents Create and maintain a monthly activities calendar Encourage community involvement and volunteer participation Schedule and coordinate outside entertainers Work with local churches to schedule religious services and provide support Provide companionship and positive engagement with residents Support and lead activities independently and as part of a team Qualifications Compassionate and dependable Genuine desire to work with seniors Previous experience preferred Ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong communication skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Must be able to pass a criminal background check Schedule Day shift Flexible schedule Approximately 15 hours per week This job description reflects the general nature of the position and is not intended to list all duties.
