Acupuncturist Per Diem Massachusetts General Hospital United States, Massachusetts, Boston 32 Fruit Street (Show on map) May 11, 2026 Acupuncturist provides acupuncture therapy services in conjunction with medical care to MGBCI patients. Primary areas of focus for acupuncturist includes alleviation of pain, stress and anxiety associated with illness and treatment as well as other side effects and symptoms such as nausea. The acupuncturist treats in both inpatient and ambulatory settings as directed by their supervisor. • Demonstrated knowledge of acupuncture theory, anatomy and physiology.
• Demonstrated ability to make appropriate judgments of the patient to provide safe acupuncture.
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served on assigned units.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with varied populations.
• Work independently, be self-directed and contribute as a member of a team.
• High level of service delivery Demonstrate initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations.
