Job Description

Administrative Assistant, Richfield Career Center Snow College is seeking an enthusiastic, highly skilled, and self-motivated Administrative Assistant who is passionate about supporting students in achieving career success. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students secure employment, internships, and other career-building experiences.
JOB SUMMARY
Under minimal supervision, the Administrative Assistant uses sound judgment and initiative to support the Career Center team and coordinate a wide range of administrative functions. This role serves both students and employers, supports recruiting and job placement efforts, assists with events and marketing, and maintains data systems to track outcomes and generate reports.
Position Details Status:
Part-time (20 hours per week)
Schedule:
Weekdays, approximately 4-5 hours per day between 8:00 AM and 5:00
PM Compensation:

Education :
Associate's Degree or equivalent professional experience (2+ years)
Experience:
One or more years of administrative experience; prefer one year of working with student populations, or one year in a professional services office capacity.
Knowledge & Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to learn and effectively use databases and student information systems (Banner/BadgerWeb experience preferred) Strong written communication skills, including grammar and proofreading Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with students, employers, faculty, staff, and community members Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management Provide front-line customer service by greeting visitors, answering phones and emails, scheduling appointments, and sharing information in a professional and welcoming manner Support data collection efforts, including exit and satisfaction surveys, and assist in compiling and reporting outcomes Assist employers with job postings, candidate engagement, and event participation Coordinate and support events such as job fairs, networking events, employer visits, and on-campus interviews Process purchases, managing office supplies, and complete p-card reconciliation Coach students and alumni on resumes, job search strategies, networking, and professional development (in person, via Teams, or email) Maintain and update office documents, databases, and digital files Assist with marketing efforts, including website content, digital displays, and social media; collaborate with the promotions intern Track and manage data related to student employment, internships, and career outcomes using systems such as Banner Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Career Center Director Applications received by 11:59 PM on June 1, 2026, will be eligible for review by the hiring committee.
