Help Wanted:
Real Estate Office & Marketing Assistant Part-Time to Full-Time | RE/MAX of Elk Rapids RE/MAX of Elk Rapids is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented, and self-directed Real Estate Office & Marketing Assistant to join our established real estate office. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, communicates well, and is comfortable supporting a busy, professional team. This role will assist the Broker/Owner, Marketing Director, agents, and office staff with day-to-day administrative needs, client service, marketing support, social media, transaction coordination, and general office organization. The right person will be dependable, organized, friendly, and able to anticipate what needs to be done. Attention to detail is critical, as real estate involves important documents, deadlines, client communication, and follow-through.
Responsibilities Include:
Answering phones and greeting clients, agents, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner Scheduling and managing appointments, meetings, and office calendars Assisting with real estate paperwork, listing files, transaction documents, and deadlines Preparing listing packages, buyer packets, brochures, flyers, mailings, and other marketing materials Posting and assisting with social media content, email marketing, and online promotion Maintaining mailing lists, email lists, client databases, and contact information Coordinating with title companies, lenders, other real estate offices, vendors, and clients Assisting with local marketing efforts, community events, and office promotions Helping keep the office organized, efficient, and running smoothly Supporting the Broker/Owner, Marketing Director, Office Manager, and agents as needed Learning and using real estate systems, software, and processes
The Ideal Candidate Is:
Highly organized and detail-oriented Self-motivated and able to take initiative Friendly, professional, and service-minded A strong written and verbal communicator Comfortable with technology, social media, advertising and marketing tasks Able to prioritize, problem-solve, and follow through Coachable and willing to learn Trustworthy, dependable, and discreet with confidential information Comfortable working in a fast-paced office with shifting priorities Interested in real estate, marketing, customer service, and community connection
Qualifications:
Strong computer skills required Experience with Apple-based programs, Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe, or similar design/marketing tools is helpful Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, email marketing, and online platforms preferred Real estate experience is helpful but not required A real estate license is a plus, but not required High school diploma required Prior office, administrative, marketing, customer service, or real estate experience preferred
