Business Administrator provides day-to-day administrative support services for all Verux, Inc. field offices, interfaces with prospective clients ready to initiate projects, responds to specific bid request needs and provides support for general project bidding as needed. Position requires strong computer, communication and organization skills, talent for managing time-sensitive projects, and team-oriented work ethic. This is a full-time, non-exempt, and on-site position with health, retirement and paid time off benefits.Responsibilities:
Corporate Operations Support Monitor corporate phone and voicemail, greet visitors and take deliveries Coordinate office meetings and events Monitor, order and stock office supplies for all offices Support new employee onboarding Coordinate employee equipment purchases, assignment and repairs Book staff travel for all offices and administer FastTrack account Maintain computer, phone and field equipment inventory Maintain company forms and directories Manage voicemail and email distribution lists Bidding Support Respond to same week and select last minute bid requests outside of standard bidding schedule: prepare bid cover sheet, contact pre-bid review, forward project documents as needed, prepare and send bid or respond to contractor making request as directed Interface with prospective clients with proposal questions Prepare and send bid request and general bid proposals in accordance with bid schedule as needed Project Initiation Support Respond to clients ready to start projects, determine if a bid has been provided and secure a new bid as needed Initiate project setup and provide notice to project management team Training Support Manage training enrollments, certificates and database Prepare training materials and meeting suppliesQualifications:
Associate degree is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred Minimum two (2) years of administrative office experience required Skills & Abilities Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management abilities Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and accountability Maintains a positive, customer-service attitude Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds Ability to operate office equipment and computer systems for extended periodsBenefits
