$96,000.00-$120,000.00 Job Summary Overall accountability and management of day-to-day administrative activities for Oncology Services. This position will be responsible for onboarding all new Faculty, communicating and facilitating Montefiore's procedures to include but not limited to: Contracts and agreements, coordinate credentialing process for all licensed faculty and nurse practitioners until credentialing approval is completed, coordinate billing credentialing application with rev cycle team, academic appointments and reappointments, manage HR related matters, EPIC/EMR requests and access. Manage faculty files and ensure licensed providers are up-to-date with CME credits and required credentials. Payroll and HCM responsibilities. Provide administrative support to chairman and medical director. Oversee administrative staff responsibilities. Administrative resource to faculty and management staff with regard to departmental and institutional policies and procedures. Special Projects as assigned by the Department Director and Chairman. Essential Functions Manage the administrative operations of the Cancer Center activities to ensure maximum efficiency and to improve continued operation of the Department within the goals and guidelines set by the cancer center services.- To ensure maximum efficiency and improve continued operation of the cancer service line, institution and regulatory departments. Responsible for onboarding new faculty and all other coordination to successfully on-board new recruits.
- To ensure timely and successful onboarding for all new faculty and licensed providers. Responsible for payroll approval and submission and HCM Accurate and timely submission to ensure appropriate related items such as session pay, HR actions and other payroll adjustments.
- Accurate and timely submission to ensure effective operations standards and streamlined processes. Creates and maintains comprehensive project documents. In partnership with the leadership staff, ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
- Works with PM to establish a timeline for Faculty Practice projects and works with project owners to shepherds projects along. Manage credentialing process for all licensed providers. Track documents submitted and ensure all providers are fully credentialed prior to start date. Liaises with CMO and providers. Submits all Medicaid and Medicare enrollment applications.
- To assure all billing requirements are obtained prior to when services are rendered. Manage all personnel files and track expiring items (Licenses, Certification etc.)
- To assure compliance with regulatory requirements.
