Job Description

Company Overview Lawn Management Sprinkler Co. specializes in the installation, service, and maintenance of underground irrigation and landscape lighting systems for residential and commercial properties. We are committed to delivering high-quality outdoor solutions while providing exceptional service to our customers. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated recent graduate to join our Rotational Leadership Management Program , a paid 9-12 month development program designed to prepare the right individual for a future leadership role within our organization. This position provides hands-on experience across every major area of our business. Rather than learning operations from behind a desk, the selected candidate will work directly alongside our installation crews, service technicians, customer service team, sales staff, administrative team, and senior leadership.
Program Objective:
Develop a well-rounded future leader who understands our business from the field level through management, financial performance, customer relationships, and long-term business strategy. Program Structure 1. Installation & Field Operations | 3-4 Months Gain hands-on experience with irrigation and landscape lighting installation, repair, and maintenance. Learn the responsibilities of an installation foreman, including managing a crew and completing projects from start to finish. Develop proficiency with equipment and machinery while learning company safety procedures and industry standards. 2. Service Operations | 2 Months Work alongside our service team performing repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and system diagnostics. Learn the day-to-day responsibilities of a service technician and gain exposure to irrigation technology, products, and industry best practices. Complete 12-15 Irrigation Association (IA) education credits through approved online or in-person training. 3. Customer Service, Sales & Business Development | 1-2 Months Gain exposure to dispatching, scheduling, customer communication, estimating, and job scope development. Shadow the sales process from initial opportunity through follow-up while learning how we identify customer needs, develop relationships, and generate additional business. Gain experience with CRM systems and customer follow-up procedures. 4. Finance & Administration | Up to 1 Month Work with our administrative and accounting teams to understand job costing, budgeting, invoicing, billing cycles, and cash flow. Gain exposure to important HR functions, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and payroll. 5. Leadership & Business Strategy | 1-2 Months Work directly with senior leadership to understand operational KPIs, financial performance, employee development, and company strategy. Participate in leadership meetings, evaluate existing processes, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, profitability, and the customer experience. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is ambitious, dependable, comfortable working both in the field and in an office environment, and interested in developing into a leadership position. We are looking for someone who wants to understand how the entire business operates , is willing to learn from the ground up, and has the potential to eventually lead people, processes, and operations. Upon successful completion of the program, the goal is to transition the candidate into a full-time leadership or management position based on organizational needs, individual strengths, and performance. This is more than an internship or entry-level position. It is an opportunity to learn every side of a growing company and build the foundation necessary to become one of its future leaders.
