403 (b) matching 403 (b) Health insurance Paid time off Parental leave Training & development Vision insurance Dental insurance SUMMARY The Staff & Administration Manager provides leadership and oversight for Citizens Church's human resources, administrative, and ministry support functions. This role strengthens the systems, processes, and teams that support staff and ministries in carrying out our mission to Enjoy God, Love People, and Make Disciples. The ideal candidate is a strategic and detail-oriented leader who can build effective systems, support staff health, manage key administrative functions, and partner with church leadership to help the church operate with excellence and care.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferred 3+ years of experience in HR, operations, administration, or a related field preferred Experience managing payroll, employee records, benefits administration, and HR systems Knowledge of employment compliance, policies, and organizational processes Experience supporting hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and employee care Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills Prior experience supervising staff or administrative teams preferred
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Leadership & Administration Lead and develop the administration team, establishing priorities, workflows, and service standards. Provide coaching and support to direct reports. Oversee office operations, ministry support, and administrative systems. Partner with church leadership to improve organizational effectiveness. Human Resources Oversee onboarding, offboarding, personnel records, job descriptions, and HR documentation. Maintain policies, employee handbook updates, and compliance requirements. Coordinate performance review cycles and staff care initiatives. Support hiring, compensation, and employee transitions. Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Manage payroll processes, including housing allowances and payroll adjustments. Support compensation planning and personnel budgeting. Oversee benefits administration, enrollment, plan changes, and employee support. Ensure payroll and benefits are accurate, timely, and compliant. Church Operations & Ministry Support Support the Executive Pastor, Leadership Team, and Elder Board with meetings, documentation, and follow-up. Provide administrative support for ministry teams. Coordinate staff gatherings and operational events. Maintain systems, calendars, and processes that help ministries function effectively.
