Job Description
Job Summary A growing manufacturing organization in Arcadia, CA is seeking an Administrative & Accounting Coordinator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting both accounting operations and day-to-day office administration in a small team environment. The Administrative & Accounting Coordinator will report directly to the CFO and play an important role in accounts payable, payroll support, general ledger posting, customer payment follow-up, front desk support, and administrative coordination. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values variety, supportive leadership, hands-on training, and the chance to build long-term stability with a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities
- Process Accounts Payable transactions, maintain accurate accounting records, and assist with general ledger posting.
- Support payroll processing, bank deposits, year-end filing, and other accounting administration tasks.
- Monitor sales activity, identify discrepancies, and follow up on customer Accounts Receivable balances.
- Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, provide light phone support, and prepare professional correspondence.
- Manage office supply inventory, assist with vendor coordination, and support administrative projects, company events, and operational needs.
- Act as a backup for order release processing and customer payment transactions, including credit card payments. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$22.00 to $25.00 per hour.Job Type:
Temp-to-Hire.Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch.Overtime:
Occasional, as needed.Location:
Arcadia, CA. Required Qualifications and Skills- Process Accounts Payable transactions and support daily accounting operations.
- Assist with payroll processing, general ledger posting, bank deposits, and year-end administrative tasks.
- Support front desk coverage, customer communication, office administration, and documentation.
- Follow up on Accounts Receivable balances, sales discrepancies, and customer payment activity.
- 3-5 years of administrative, accounting, bookkeeping, or office support experience preferred.
- Experience with Accounts Payable and general accounting functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a small team setting. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or similar operational environment.
- Experience supporting payroll, customer payments, order processing, or year-end filing activities.
- Comfort working directly with senior finance leadership and supporting special projects as needed.
