Events & Administrative Coordinator MainStreet Oceanside | Oceanside, CA Part-Time or Full-Time | Are you outgoing, organized, tech-savvy, and someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people? MainStreet Oceanside is looking for an Events & Administrative Coordinator to join our team and help support the programs, events, businesses, and community that make Downtown Oceanside such a special place. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety! No two days are exactly the same—you may be supporting an upcoming community event, assisting with marketing efforts, connecting with local businesses, helping with sales initiatives, or keeping important administrative projects moving forward. What You'll Do The Events & Administrative Coordinator will provide support across several areas of the organization, including: Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of events and community programs . Provide administrative and logistical support before, during, and after events. Support marketing and promotional initiatives , including coordinating materials, communications, and outreach. Assist with sales, sponsorship, and business outreach efforts . Build positive relationships with Downtown Oceanside businesses, community partners, vendors, sponsors, and visitors. Attend meetings, community events, and networking opportunities as a representative of MainStreet Oceanside. Assist with presentations and be comfortable speaking with groups and interacting with the public . Provide general office and administrative support, including correspondence, scheduling, data entry, document preparation, and recordkeeping. Maintain organized electronic files, databases, contact lists, and other administrative systems. Help keep projects organized, track deadlines, and follow up on action items. Jump in wherever needed to support the team and the success of MainStreet Oceanside programs and events.
