Unit 7 - CSUEU - Clerical and Administrative Support Services, Administrative, Probationary, Full Time Position Description Job Overview Centralized Administrative Services provides a specialized shared services model that delivers consistent, efficient, and compliant administrative and transactional support across the division, including procurement, accounts payable, travel, and related operational processes. The model is designed to improve service quality, standardize workflows, increase organizational capacity, and support scalable operations through centralized expertise and process management. This position provides administrative/clerical support to the Administrative Services team. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining department files; inputting data for archiving and file retrieval; coordinating telephone, electronic and written correspondence as directed. Responsible for calendaring meetings, workshops; soliciting information on behalf of the department, retrieving data, preparing reports/charts of a varying nature related to programs, including technology support and asset management; coordinating travel and training arrangements. Position Summary Administrative Support Coordinator (Administrative Support Coordinator 1) This is a full-time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period. Pay, Benefits, and Work Schedule Anticipated Hiring Salary Range:
$4,469 per month (step 6)
CSU Classification Salary Range:
$4,047 - $5,896 per month Salary is commensurate with the background and experience of the individual selected. This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 15 paid holidays are offered each year; 14 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
