AGENCY DESCRIPTION
This position is available for an immediate opening at the Mariposas Project agency in Santa Barbara, CA. We are an Early Start agency, Community Center, and Service Provider for speech, occupational, physical, and vision therapies as well as child development services.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Administrative Coordinator will primarily be responsible for helping maintain an organized front office by filing, copying, faxing, maintaining supplies inventory, and helping to complete special projects as directed from upper management. The Administrative Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining communication with staff, and assisting them with their daily requests and inquiries. The Administrative Coordinator will need to report to and take direction from the agency management team.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
The ability to multi-task and handle several projects at one time (filing, making phone calls, e-mailing, assisting staff, etc) Computer literacy and internet skills and knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel. Ability to upload/download files, and work with cloud storage. Strong communication skills (both oral and written) Strong organization skills for following and initiating office policies, prioritizing workload and systems (attention to detail is critical) The ability to maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines and regulations The ability to take direction from both staff and upper management Reliable and flexible Good references
