At PVS Structures, a well-run shop floor depends on more than just the people doing the fabricating — it depends on someone behind the scenes keeping the systems accurate, the paperwork straight, and the administrative side of the operation moving without a hitch. We're hiring a Shop Administrator to serve as the day-to-day administrative backbone of our Carter Lake facility on a 4-day work week . This is a unique blend of traditional office administration and hands-on system responsibility — specifically our Tekla structural software and Kronos timekeeping system . PM Schedule:

4-day work week — Fridays always off Home by early afternoon every day What You'll Do Tekla System Administration Serve as the primary administrator for the Tekla software environment , including user account setup, permissions, and daily shop floor time entries Troubleshoot day-to-day Tekla issues reported by shop and drafting staff, escalating complex problems to IT or Tekla support as needed Support training of new users on basic Tekla navigation and company file-management standards Kronos Timekeeping Monitor daily time clock entries for accuracy , resolving missed punches, discrepancies, and exceptions with supervisors and employees Process and reconcile Kronos data ahead of each payroll cycle , ensuring accurate hours, overtime, and PTO records Generate attendance, labor, and overtime reports for management as requested Maintain up-to-date documentation of Kronos procedures and serve as the go-to resource for employee timekeeping questions General Administrative Support Assist plant management with day-to-day administrative duties and scheduling Maintain shop records, filing systems, and document control — both physical and digital Order and track office and shop supplies ; manage vendor invoices and purchase orders Assist with scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting preparation for shop and management staff Support onboarding paperwork for new hires , including PPE, uniforms, and new hire training documentation Maintain compliance documentation — safety logs, certifications, and training records Provide documentation of daily Gemba meetings Provide general administrative support to shop management and production staff as needed What We're Looking For Strong organizational and administrative skills — you can manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball Comfortable with software systems and technology — prior experience with Tekla, Kronos, or similar platforms is a plus; willingness to learn is required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you interact with shop supervisors, management, and employees daily Detail-oriented with a high standard for data accuracy — timekeeping and production records need to be right Able to work in an office environment adjacent to an active shop floor — occasional exposure to shop noise and equipment Proactive, reliable, and a genuine team player Able to handle confidential information with discretion — payroll and HR data is part of this role Prior experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or construction office environment is a plus What's In It For You ✅ $20
