Job Description

About this Job The mission of the Louisiana Department of Health is to protect and promote health and to ensure access to medical, preventive, and rehabilitative services for all residents of the State of Louisiana. As an Administrative Coordinator 4, you'll supervise and develop staff, coordinate daily workloads, and help ensure timely, accurate service to SNAP applicants and recipients. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION

Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties:
Directly supervises Administrative Coordinator 3 employees by providing training, coaching, guidance, and ongoing support. Assigns, monitors, and reviews staff workloads to ensure assignments are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Develops and completes Continuous Performance Management plans, employee evaluations, and related supervisory documentation. Reviews and approves employee leave requests and monitors attendance and performance in accordance with departmental policies. Addresses staff disputes, client complaints, and conflicts related to participation in assigned programs. Reviews applications, forms, and supporting documentation to ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and applicable requirements. Serves as a liaison among staff, clients, management, and other organizational units while coordinating office administrative needs, including supplies, purchase requisitions, and time administration.
