Summary:
Provide administrative, program, compliance, and operational support for the Child & Youth Services Department.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate program records, reports, spreadsheets, forms, and confidential files
  • Prepare correspondence, billing documentation, meeting materials, and minutes
  • Answer and route telephone calls and provide general office support
  • Process purchase requisitions, maintain purchase orders, and manage department supplies
  • Coordinate staff training, certifications, TB testing, and professional development
  • Assist with staffing coverage, scheduling, child-to-staff ratios, and daily program operations
  • Support licensing, safety, health, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Assist with 21st CCLC documentation, Cayen data entry, curriculum support, and grant meetings
  • Coordinate Food Program documentation, menu planning, nutrient analysis, and compliance
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all BRS policies and procedures
  • Complete deliveries, bank deposits, meeting setup, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Strong organizational, communication, writing, and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs, OneDrive, databases, and spreadsheets
  • Ability to type at least 40 words per minute when corrected for errors
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must meet required background check, health, and employment screening standards
Certifications & Requirements:
  • CPR, First Aid, Preventing Disease Transmission, CPI, and ServSafe certifications required
  • Completion of pre-employment drug screening
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and vehicle liability insurance required
  • Completion of required annual professional development training
  • Ability to lift and carry a box of office supplies Blue River Services, Inc.
