Primary Responsibilities Donor Services & Database Management Process and accurately record incoming donations, including checks, ACH, and electronic gifts Maintain accurate donor records in our donor management database Prepare bank deposits and assist with gift reconciliation Generate donor reports, giving histories, mailing lists and data exports Assist donors with questions regarding gifts, receipts, and records Maintain excellent confidentiality and data integrity Help continually improve administrative and donor-processing systems Administrative & Financial Support Assist with accounts receivable and routine financial recordkeeping Prepare reports and information needed by organizational leadership Maintain organized electronic and paper records Assist with correspondence, mailing merges, and other administrative projects Coordinate with staff and volunteers who assist with administrative responsibilities Provide additional administrative support during major organizational projects and fundraising events Who We're Looking For You may be a particularly good fit if you: Are exceptionally accurate and attentive to detail Enjoy numbers, records, databases and organized systems Have bookkeeping, accounting, banking, donor-services or administrative experience Are comfortable learning new software and technology Can work independently and complete tasks without constant supervision Handle confidential information with discretion Communicate professionally and warmly by phone and email Can prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines Enjoy creating order and improving processes Work well as part of a small, mission-driven team Experience with donor-management software is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Qualifications Previous administrative, bookkeeping, accounting, banking, database or related office experience preferred Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets and database systems Excellent organizational and written communication skills Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Strong references and demonstrated reliability Schedule This is an on-site position in the Northeast Ohio area . The position is expected to include regular weekday hours, primarily Monday through Thursday. Specific hours and the overall weekly schedule can be discussed based on organizational needs and the successful candidate's experience.
