Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Collections Representative to join our financial services team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, conducting credit analysis, and engaging with clients to facilitate debt settlement and relief. Responsibilities Initiate outbound telemarketing calls to clients regarding overdue accounts, payment plans, and debt resolution options Utilize phone etiquette and customer support skills to handle inquiries, provide solutions, and negotiate repayment arrangements Conduct thorough credit analysis and account reconciliation to assess client financial status and determine appropriate collection strategies Maintain accurate records of all client interactions using CRM systems and financial software, ensuring data entry accuracy Analyze debt settlement options, including debt relief and consolidation programs, aligning with industry regulations and compliance standards Collaborate with internal teams on accounts receivable management, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding balances Prepare detailed reports on collection activities, account statuses, and industry compliance adherence using Excel data analysis tools Requirements Proven experience in telemarketing, customer service, or collections within a financial or medical billing environment Strong phone etiquette with the ability to conduct effective sales calls and client communication Knowledge of credit analysis, debt settlement analysis, and industry-specific regulations such as banking regulatory compliance and medical coding (ICD-10) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and account reconciliation tasks Familiarity with CRM systems, accounting software, financial concepts, and revenue cycle management processes Excellent negotiation skills combined with a clear understanding of accounts payable/receivable procedures Ability to analyze financial data accurately while maintaining compliance with loan regulations and industry standards Join our team if you're passionate about helping clients resolve their financial challenges while developing your career in a vibrant, supportive environment.
