Insurance Collector - Medical Billing Company Metairie Area Are you detail-oriented, persistent, and experienced in insurance follow-up? Join our growing medical billing team as an Insurance Collector and play a key role in maximizing reimbursements and resolving outstanding claims.

Responsibilities:

Follow up with insurance carriers on unpaid, denied, or underpaid claims Review EOBs, denials, and payment discrepancies Submit appeals and corrected claims as needed Maintain accurate account documentation Work closely with billing, coding, and provider teams to ensure timely collections Meet productivity and collection goals

Qualifications:

Experience in medical billing, insurance collections, or accounts receivable preferred Knowledge of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Workers' Compensation claims Strong communication and negotiation skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
