JOB DESCRIPTION
Municipal Operations and Consulting, Inc. is seeking to fill a position in the Cut offs/Collection Department. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and time management, as well as the ability to work effectively with customers, field technicians, and office staff. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional, team-oriented, "Others First" approach.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Process delinquent notices according to the District's Rate Order. Follow a monthly and daily calendar schedule to create delinquent letters, door tags, and process service disconnections for each District. Review all accounts for payments prior to the notices being issued. This position requires arriving early to verify notices before field staff begin delivering door tags or disconnecting services. Follow up on payment extensions and payment plans. Operate letter and postage machine to prepare delinquent letter notices for mailing. Pick up mail from the post office as needed. Communicate effectively with the field technicians via Teams or phone regarding door tags, service turn-ons, and any questions regarding disconnects. Assist with any customer calls during periods of high call volume and as needed.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Full-time position: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Must be available to work in-office during emergency response hours (extreme weather or emergency events). Insurance and benefits included. TYPE Full Time
