Job Description

Cash & Collections Analyst Location:
Richardson, TX Schedule:
M-F 8-5 Onsite |
Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire Compensation:
$26-$27/hr Our client has grown to become the world's leading community management service company and is now looking for a motivated
Cash Applications & Collections Analyst Key Responsibilities Portfolio Management:
Own and manage a portfolio of customer accounts to drive the timely collection of outstanding balances and mitigate aging risks.
Proactive Outreach:
Execute consistent phone and email follow-ups on past-due invoices to maintain a healthy cash flow.
Dispute Resolution:
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with branch teams, operations, and customer service to eliminate collection barriers and resolve disputes.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed, accurate collection notes to ensure full visibility into account statuses, trends, and next steps.
Month-End Support:
Assist with month-end close activities, including Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reviews and account reconciliations.
Process Improvement:
Identify workflow bottlenecks and actively contribute to process improvements and automation efforts.
Relationship Building:
Deliver high-quality customer service to build strong, trusted relationships with both internal and external partners. Required Qualifications 2+ years in collections, accounts receivable, or related role High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of proper accounting principles (US GAAP). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and alpha-numeric data entry.
Compensation / Pay
Rate (Up to): $26.00 - $27.00
