Job Description
Thurmond Eye Associates seeks a Patient Collections Specialist to support our ophthalmology practice in Harlingen, TX. In this patient-centered role, you will manage patient account balances, verify insurance, post payments, set up payment plans, and follow up on outstanding balances with professionalism and empathy. You will work closely with clinical and front office teams, explain statements to patients, maintain accurate records, and follow billing and compliance guidelines while supporting our commitment to high-quality, compassionate eye care.
