Full Job Description Description:
Pender & Coward, P.C. seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Collections Specialist to lead HOA collections, ensuring all past due amounts are recovered while preventing the aging of current balances. You will manage portfolios for multiple clients, serve as primary point of contact on account matters, and deliver timely, accurate updates. Responsibilities Monitor, maintain and manage collections using in-house software Perform detailed and accurate data entry Prepare billing invoices and periodic status reports for clients Maintain internal and external communications Responsible for HOA collections to ensure all past due amounts are collected while preventing the aging of current balances. Responsible for client communications (including payment, refunds and statements) to ensure all client portfolios are in compliance with established payment policies and terms. Reviews of all client AR balances periodically to ensure billing/invoice and payment accuracy Serve as main contact on all accounting aspects of the client's accounts
Requirements:
2+ year(s) experience in high volume collections management with a preferred specialization in homeowner's associations. Ability to oversee the intake, cataloging, documentation, and performance of collections portfolios for multiple clients. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to multi-task. Polite, confident, and excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Capability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environment. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel). Ability to learn new software, including Totality Collector (T6). Ability to work full-time, on-site in Virginia Beach, VA Benefits Eligible for performance-based bonus after first year
