•Overview Join our dynamic finance team as a Junior Billing Administrator, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will drive accurate and efficient billing processes. In this vital role, you will support the accounts receivable functions, manage client invoicing, and ensure compliance with financial standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your accounting skills within a collaborative environment that values growth, accuracy, and customer service excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and process client invoices using billing software and accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft. Perform data entry with precision, ensuring all billing information aligns with contractual agreements and financial records. Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions to maintain accurate financial records. Assist in account analysis and journal entries to support month-end closing activities. Manage collections accounts by following up on overdue payments and negotiating payment arrangements with clients. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to resolve billing discrepancies promptly and professionally. Maintain compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) controls and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) standards during all financial processes. Skills Strong understanding of accounting concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and account reconciliation. Proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms. Experience with Excel data analysis, including creating formulas and spreadsheets for reporting purposes. Knowledge of billing software, accounts receivable management, and collections account management. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analysis skills for account review and reconciliation tasks. Effective communication skills for client interaction, negotiation, and customer service excellence.
