Manage healthcare insurance billing and collections, follow up on outstanding balances, resolve claim payment issues, and ensure accurate reimbursement from commercial, government, and managed care payors.

Responsibilities:

Follow up on outstanding accounts and unpaid claims. Review payor contracts and calculate expected reimbursements. Investigate denied, delayed, or underpaid claims. Communicate with insurance representatives to resolve payment issues. Track accounts receivable and maintain accurate records. Identify payment discrepancies and escalate complex issues. Use payer portals and online tools for collection activities. Follow healthcare billing requirements and organizational policies.

MUST HAVE

At least 1 year of experience in a hospital reimbursement or claims department At least 2 years of experience in billing and collections for commercial, government, and managed care payors

Pay:
