Job Description

We need a self starter that is extremely proficient in denied, rejected claims. We do not micro mange. We just need the job to completed cleaning up the problems claims quickly and understands the entire process. Are you ready to thrive with a growing team that values hard work, respect, and success? We are a busy, thriving private mental health practice seeking a Billing Specialist to join our happy, close-knit team. We love what we do, have fun doing it, and are dedicated to excellence.
Position Overview:
in-office Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM . Major holidays off and PTO days included Salary commensurate with experience Room for financial growth and career advancement as our company continues to Knowledge of Medicare billing a must Medicare Billing experience Has worked with simple Practice software

Duties Include:
Code patients' diagnoses and procedures Create invoices and prepare/submit insurance claims Track payments and follow up with insurance companies and patients Collect outstanding payments via credit card as needed Report collection issues weekly to the supervisor Correct rejected claims and submit secondary claims Maintain accurate, complete billing information Respond promptly and professionally to patient billing inquiries by phone and email
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of HIPAA and compliance best practices Proficient in ICD-10 and medical coding systems Knowledge of medical billing procedures and collection practices Experience navigating electronic health record (EHR) systems Credentialing experience is a major plus Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, insurance companies, and team members Why Join Us?
