Medical records Attention to detail Organizational skills Full Job Description Delray MRI/Delray CT is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with medical billing, insurance claims, and accounts receivable, and will be committed to maintaining accuracy and timely reimbursement. Responsibilities Submit and follow up on medical insurance claims. Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits. Review and resolve claim denials, rejections, and invalids. Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable. Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and reimbursement. Maintain accurate patient and billing records. Answer incoming patient calls and respond to assist with billing questions. Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues. Ensure compliance with applicable healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements. Qualifications Previous experience in medical billing, preferably in radiology, imaging, or a healthcare setting. Experience with the Imagine One billing system preferred. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding is preferred. Experience with insurance claims, denials, and accounts receivable. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with medical billing software or electronic health records is a plus.
