Job Description

Babette's Furniture & Home Shoppe is seeking an attentive, high-accuracy Billing Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a vital part in customer satisfaction and store efficiency by accurately managing sales orders, vendor communications, and daily financial balancing. In addition, this position serves as a key administrative anchor, providing system support and front-counter customer service backup.
Key Responsibilities Order Processing:
Review sales tickets for accuracy and enter customer sales orders into the computer system.
Vendor & Purchase Management:
Create and transmit purchase orders to vendors, process vendor invoices, and handle accessory purchases.
Daily Financials:
Balance funds received on a daily basis within company computer systems.
Team & Store Support:
Interface directly with sales staff to resolve sales ticket issues and reallocate inventory items as requested.
Customer Service Backup:
Provide backup support for Front Counter Customer Service Representatives, including greeting in-store customers, handling retail tasks, and answering/transferring phone calls.
Administrative & Systems Care:
Maintain organized digital and physical customer records, and manage filing.
Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in customer service, data entry, or administrative support roles.
Technical Skills:
Proficient with Google Workspace / Google Suites is a plus.
Core Competencies:
Exceptional attention to detail, fast and accurate data entry skills, and strong research abilities.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Professional verbal and written communication skills with a positive, customer-focused attitude.
Physical Demands:
Ability to work in an office/showroom environment and lift up to 30 lbs when handling office items or store merchandise.
Availability:
Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including alternating weekends.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
