Identify discrepancies and work with internal teams to resolve issues. Research information and follow established company procedures and regulations. Learn and apply regulations administered by the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) . Use Excel and internal systems to review and organize information. Communicate with internal departments and external customers. Investigate problems, gather information, and determine appropriate solutions. Identify trends and help recommend process improvements. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines. Work independently while knowing when to ask questions or escalate an issue. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Eager to learn and interested in developing a career in logistics. Detail-oriented and comfortable working with numbers and documents. Organized and able to manage multiple priorities. Comfortable using computers and learning new software. Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel . A strong communicator who enjoys working with others. Able to analyze information and solve problems. Comfortable following established rules, procedures, and regulations. Able to work independently while collaborating with different departments. Professional and customer-service oriented. Qualifications At least 1 year of experience reviewing financial, billing, and/or contract-related documents. Experience in logistics, transportation, maritime, accounting, legal services, or another regulated industry is preferred. Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Ability to work extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends when needed. Maritime or Federal Maritime Commission experience is a plus, but not required.
