Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

Submit and process medical insurance claims accurately and on time Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits Follow up on unpaid, rejected, and denied claims Handle claim corrections, appeals, and resubmissions Post insurance and patient payments Review EOBs/ERAs and resolve payment discrepancies Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and reimbursement Maintain accurate billing and patient account records Qualifications Proven experience in medical office administration or medical billing with familiarity in healthcare claims management. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and coding systems including

CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, ICD

coding, and DRG. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, along with experience using billing software and EMR/EHR systems. Understanding of health insurance processes, medical collection procedures, and healthcare compliance standards. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex data accurately. Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, providers, and insurance companies. Prior experience working with medical coding (medical coding certification is a plus) and familiarity with medical billing best practices.
