Set up and operate machinery, including selecting appropriate tooling, lenses, programs, and machine parameters based on material type and thickness. Read and follow drawings, work orders, measurements, and production instructions. Set up and operate press brake equipment to accurately bend and form sheet metal to specified dimensions. Perform quality checks throughout production to ensure parts meet required measurements, specifications, and quality standards. Load and unload sheet metal and raw materials safely using proper handling equipment. Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production efficiency. Load programs and verify machine settings before beginning production runs. Identify and report machine, material, or production issues promptly. Prepare completed parts for the next stage of production, assembly, shipping, or customer pickup. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area. Assist with inventory and material organization when needed. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize jobs according to production deadlines. Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures. Handle and move sheet metal and finished products, including materials weighing up to 100 lbs. Perform other machine operation and fabrication duties as needed. Qualifications Previous experience operating laser cutting and/or press brake equipment . Sheet metal or metal fabrication experience strongly preferred. Ability to read and follow production drawings, measurements, and work orders. Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand machine setup and operation. Experience working with different material types and thicknesses. Programming and machine setup experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, quality work. Ability to work with urgency while maintaining accuracy. Highly organized and able to manage changing production priorities. Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work around machinery throughout the workday. Forklift and/or hoist experience preferred. Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious. Ability to work independently as well as with the production team.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
