Howell, Martin & Wilson, a busy CPA and accounting firm in Panama City, is seeking an experienced part-time Billing Specialist to assist with client billing and accounts receivable. This is a permanent, in-office position averaging 10-15 hours per week . This position is ideal for someone with prior accounting-firm billing or similar professional-services billing experience who is looking for consistent, limited part-time hours.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and sending client invoices and account statements Reviewing billing information for accuracy and completeness Receiving, recording, and tracking client payments Monitoring outstanding accounts receivable and following up as needed Responding to client questions regarding invoices, payments, and account balances Researching and resolving payment discrepancies and billing errors Preparing regular billing and accounts receivable reports Maintaining accurate and organized billing records The ideal candidate will: Have prior billing and accounts receivable experience; experience in a CPA/accounting firm or other professional-services firm is strongly preferred Have excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify billing errors or inconsistencies Be comfortable communicating professionally with clients regarding invoices and outstanding balances Have strong organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills Be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Be comfortable working with confidential financial information

Pay:
