Responsibilities Prepare and process client invoices using billing software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms Manage accounts receivable by tracking outstanding balances, following up on overdue payments, and reconciling discrepancies Assist with account reconciliation activities, including verifying data entries and resolving billing issues promptly Support collections account management by communicating with clients regarding payment statuses and resolving billing inquiries Maintain detailed records of billing transactions, journal entries, and account adjustments within accounting systems such as Sage, PeopleSoft, or QuickBooks Collaborate with the accounts payable team to ensure proper coding and processing of payments and expenses Utilize Excel data analysis skills to generate reports, analyze billing trends, and identify opportunities for process improvements Experience Prior experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within public accounting or corporate finance environments Familiarity with financial software such as Sage, PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, or similar systems is highly desirable Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) compliance requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel formulas, spreadsheets, and data entry techniques including 10 key typing Knowledge of double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, account analysis, and account reconciliation processes Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and email while maintaining professional etiquette Ability to perform detailed analysis using Excel for data entry validation and report generation Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple accounts receivable and billing tasks Join us as a Junior Client Billing Assistant where your dedication will help streamline financial operations while advancing your career in a vibrant environment committed to excellence!
