Injury Bridge supports personal injury patients by connecting them to essential care and managing the billing process that follows. Within our Mental Health Division , we focus on ensuring mental health services are billed accurately and handled efficiently so patients can focus on recovery.Position Overview:
The Billing Specialist is responsible for managing billing related to mental health services in personal injury cases. This role works closely with law firms, healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams to track balances, resolve billing issues, and maintain accurate records. This is a f ull-time, on-site role requiring strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple cases. Key Responsibilities Process and manage billing for mental health services Track balances, billing status, and payments for assigned cases Communicate with law firms, providers, and patients regarding billing questions and updates Maintain accurate documentation and case records in compliance with HIPAA Work with internal departments (Billing, Accounting, Case Management) to resolve billing issues Identify and help improve billing workflows and processes Qualifications Bilingual (English & Spanish) - REQUIRED 1+ year experience in medical billing, healthcare administration, personal injury, or mental health/behavioral health billing Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Clear verbal and written communication skills Comfortable using Microsoft 365, Excel, and billing or case management systems Ability to handle sensitive medical and financial information professionally Able to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment What We Offer Mission-driven role supporting mental health care Collaborative and supportive team environment Growth and advancement opportunities PTO Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Bonus opportunitiesJob Details Job Type:
