Job Description
Billing Specialist Southwest Pediatric Dental | Orland Park, IL | Full Time Southwest Pediatric Dental is looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to lead billing operations across our Orland Park and St. John locations. This role owns the full billing cycle from claims submission through collections, and manages a small team responsible for keeping our AR healthy and our patients' accounts accurate. What You'll Do Manage a small billing/AR team supporting both the Orland Park and St. John offices Serve as the primary point of contact for all billing functions: claims submission, accounts receivable, patient statements, outstanding collections, and past due accounts Monitor aging reports and drive down days in AR Oversee claims accuracy and resolve denials or rejections in a timely manner Ensure patient statements go out accurately and on schedule Manage collections workflows for past due accounts, balancing patient experience with revenue recovery Partner with front office and clinical teams to resolve billing discrepancies at the source Train, coach, and support the billing team's day to day performance What We're Looking For Prior experience in dental or medical billing, with hands on knowledge of claims, AR, and collections Experience leading or supervising a small team preferred Working knowledge of dental billing software and practice management systems Strong understanding of insurance claim processes, EOBs, and denial management Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Why Southwest Pediatric Dental Join a growing pediatric dental group where your work directly impacts the financial health of practices serving families across the South Suburbs and Northwest Indiana.
