The Opportunity as the Project Billing Associate, you will have the opportunity to; Be responsible for invoicing of assigned projects and ensure contract terms are followed regarding correct billing rates and schedules Be responsible for basic to intermediate level billings Work closely with Project Accountants and Project Controls personnel Answer Project Management questions regarding project billing criteria and invoice drafts Works under close supervision Key Responsibilities Generates, audits and distributes draft invoices and/or credit memos to Project Management for review based on understanding of contract May support project invoicing related analysis, as assigned by providing requested information Complexity and volume is limited to transactional level details and basic projects of standard contract terms Provides support for client and annual Black and Veatch audit activities Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvement Primary internal clients are project managers, project controls, finance managers and/or finance supervisors Preferred Qualifications High school diploma preferred

Preferred Technical Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and Oracle, preferred Knowledge of Black and Veatch Systems, Basic Knowledge of percent complete accounting, Basic Technical accounting knowledge,Basic Preferred Non-Technical Skills:
Organizing Planning Written Communications Informing Peer Relationships Minimum Qualifications Typically two years of experience or Bachelor's degree in relevant field All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
