This is an in-person position for a detail-oriented professional who has experience with long-term care pharmacy billing and is committed to delivering accurate, timely billing services. Responsibilities
  • Submit and process pharmacy claims for Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans.
  • Investigate and resolve claim rejections, denials, and billing discrepancies.
  • Manage accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding claims.
  • Process billing adjustments, credits, and rebills.
  • Communicate with insurance companies, long-term care facilities, and pharmacy staff to resolve billing issues.
  • Maintain accurate billing records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Assist with month-end billing processes and other administrative duties as needed. Qualifications
  • Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy billing is required.
  • Experience using QS/1 PrimeCare pharmacy management software is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and commercial insurance billing.
  • Experience resolving insurance claim rejections and denials.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Benefits
