Temperance area medical office seeks experienced ON-SITE Billing Specialist to assist in billing insurance claims, invoices and payments. Including reviewing claims for accuracy, inputting information regarding patient care and services, ensuring proper coding, maintaining patient account records, generating statements, efficient in working Excel spreadsheets and providing information to patients, staff, and payors associated with the Center, in both a medical and dental context.

QUALIFICATIONS

: One year of experience in a medical or dental patient accounts environment and /or completion of an educational or certificate program. Experience with and a clear understanding of health insurance and other third-party billing practices. The ability to read medical, legal, and insurance documents. Proficiency with MS Office and EHR. Proficiency and understanding of CPT/CDT and ICD 10 Codes The ability to establish and maintain an appropriate filing system for the retrieval of needed information. Experience in ECW(E-clinical works) and/or Dentrix software preferred $20/hour + benefits / 1st shift, M-F / NOT
