We are currently seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for our Billing department !

Job Summary:

Pharmacy Billing Specialists will promptly and accurately maintain the pharmacy database by updating patients' information and resolving claims rejected by insurance companies.

What You Will Do:

Handle error resolution and process any other rejections. Follow up on hospice billing and past due balances/collections. Answer a multi-lined telephone system to ensure customer care daily. Resolve all incoming calls within 48 hours unless there are extenuating circumstances where additional information is needed. Take payments over the phone, resolve cycle fill rejections, process claims, collections, and prior authorizations. Respond to incoming emails throughout the workday. Check Docutrack daily for any tasks assigned by the Billing Manager. Perform all duties related to the timely and efficient billing and collection of private insurance receivables for all contracted facility residents.

Pharmacy billing experience (1 to 2 years preferred) Pharmacy Technician License Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred) High School diploma or equivalent Must have excellent customer service and phone etiquette Ability to work with both speed and accuracy Strong organization skills and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Shift availability : Looking to hire 1 Billing Specialist working Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm with a rotating Saturday shift. Looking to hire 1 Billing Specialist working Monday-Friday from 12:00pm-8:00pm with a rotating Saturday shift. Work location : Onsite in Troy, MI What We Offer to
