" Verify patient insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility prior to treatment Accurately code procedures using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group), ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards Follow up on unpaid or denied claims through effective medical collection strategies Maintain detailed dental records and ensure compliance with dental healthcare claims management regulations Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues swiftly and professionally Assist patients with billing inquiries, payment plans, and understanding their health insurance benefits Skills Strong knowledge of medical/dental terminology, medical coding (CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10), and healthcare claims management Proficiency in billing software, Microsoft Office suite, and EMR/EHR systems Experience in medical office environments with a focus on dental or healthcare billing processes Excellent customer service skills to support patients and providers effectively Familiarity with health insurance policies, medical records management, and medical collection procedures Ability to interpret complex health insurance policies and explain billing details clearly Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple claims efficiently Join us in delivering outstanding dental care by ensuring seamless billing operations!
